Morally Made, was founded by product designer, Joshua Monahan, in 2022 following a decade in product design and manufacturing for independent and global businesses.

Driven by circular design principles and sustainable practices, Morally Made produce quality bespoke fit outs for stores, offices and commercial spaces, as well as unique, ready made furniture available to buy from the online shop.

Following the Morally Made Manifesto each piece, or project, is carefully considered to minimise waste through careful consideration of material consumption throughout the design stage.

Meticulous material planning; from knowing the origin, as well as planning for end of life, each Morally Made piece comes with fixed instruction on how to reuse the materials, or where to send them to ensure they re-join the material life cycle. 

Morally Made design in their Brighton based creative studio and workshop. Sourcing materials from their network of trusted UK based suppliers and employing passionate and skilled local craftspersons in their workshop. 

The material landscape is changing with new materials entering the market almost daily, Morally Made are constantly seeking new, better materials, especially those that give ‘single use’ plastic a second life. 

Morally Made are proud of their commitment that anything they do must compromise 90% recycled, recyclable, reusable, renewable or waste derived materials. 

Morally Made carry out weekly impact assessments in the workshop, enabling them to continuously improve processes, give back what they take, offset what they’ve incurred - and then some.
